GENERAL INFO
Eastern Washington Expeditions is hosting a Base Camp ORV Trip at Beverly Dunes on November 4th – 6th 2022 and the Beverly Dunes Clean Up on November 5th 2022.

FEE
A Discover Pass is required for all Street licensed vehicles to be at Beverly Dunes.
The event is free to attend.

SAFETY FLAGS
It is unlawful for any person to operate an ATV, ORV, or any other vehicle, excluding motorcycles, in any area designated for public ORV use in Grant County not equipped with a flag for added visibility, a bright red or brilliant orange color, measuring at least forty-eight inches square, mounted on a pole placing the flag a minimum of one hundred eight inches above the ground when the vehicle is stationary. Such flag shall be displayed as to be visible from all directions, maintaining nearly all of the required height when the vehicle is in motion; Click for more info.

DIRECTIONS
Meet at the Beverly Dunes Parking Area. From I-90: Take Highway-26 East via Exit 137 toward Othello/Pullman. Continue about 1 mile and turn right onto Highway-243. Continue about 7 miles and turn left onto Lower Crab Creek Road. In about 2 miles turn right into the Beverly Dunes ORV Area.

CAMP LOCATION
Somewhere south of the parking lot. Take a right as you leave the parking area. Look for the Eastern Washington Expeditions signs. See photo where might camp at the bottom of this post.

CAMPING INFORMATION
A Discover Pass is required for all street licensed vehicles that are parked for camping. Everyone is welcome to camp at the Base Camp. Meet & Greets Friday and Saturday evenings.

THE SCHEDULE

    • FRIDAY
      Anytime: Set up camp at Beverly Dunes.
      Maybe an evening run.
    • SATURDAY
      9:30 AM: Main trip out. Clean up sign in.
      3:30 PM: Go play in the sand. Trips out all day.
      7:00: Campfire fun
      After dark: Night Run
    • SUNDAY
      10:00 AM: Breakfast
      11:00 AM: Play some for those who want to and then head home.

MORE INFO
I plan to leave Selah around noon on Thursday to get a camping spot. Hopefully we can get a place in the trees like last year.

EWE Thanksgiving Snow Wheeling Trip

Thanksgiving Snow Wheeling Trip

GENERAL INFO
Eastern Washington Expeditions is hosting a Thanksgiving 4×4 Trip on Friday November 25 2022. This event is free but there are a limited number of rig spots available. So it is on a first-sign up basis after LSOC members.

The 4×4 Trip is 10 AM Friday: You must have a working Street licensed 4 wheel drive to do this trip. Please have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, and cold weather gear. Bring a sack type lunch since we may not stop very long at places along the way. Be prepared for mud and snow. Be prepared to get stuck if there is snow. Know your recovery points and have recovery gear.
NOTE: By signing up you are expected to follow the rules of the land and Tread Lightly. The roads/Trails can get soft this time of year. Spinning your tires intentionally on wet surfaces causes damage and is illegal. These actions have caused closures.

Eastern Washington Expeditions is hosting a Christmas Tree 4×4 Trip on November 26 2022. This event is free but there are a limited number of rig spots available. So it is on a first-sign up basis after club members.

SLEDDING: There maybe time to sled. Bring them if you have room.

FEES:
This a Free to attend event. f you want a tree, you must get a permit. They sell them at most hardware stores.
